Here's a bargain worth a look: we've found a direct Ryanair flight from Madrid to Bologna for just €41 return. That's well below the usual price of around €90, a saving of about 54%.
The dates we found are outbound on 11 December 2026 and return on 12 December. It's a short trip, ideal for a weekend when you don't have much time, though prices can change at any moment. If the dates suit you, we'd suggest checking them and booking as soon as you can.
Bologna has plenty of charm: its endless porticoes, a historic centre full of terraces, and a food scene where mortadella and tortellini are essential. If you go, stroll to Piazza Maggiore, climb the Due Torri, the Asinelli and Garisenda towers, and save room for a proper dinner of tagliatelle al ragù.
