Buenos Aires for under €800 return from Alicante is one of the more interesting long-haul deals we've seen lately. The fare is with Air Europa, with one stop along the way, and the dates we found are 19–24 January 2027. That gives you five days to explore the Argentine capital, so it's worth making the most of them.
The usual price for this route on those dates is around €1,140, so the saving is roughly 30%. Keep in mind that flight prices change constantly and this fare may no longer be available when you check. That's why we'd suggest looking at the dates as soon as possible rather than putting it off.
If you arrive with time to spare, wander around San Telmo, with its antique dealers and milongas, then head over to La Boca to see the colour of Caminito. For something more relaxed, the Palermo neighbourhood has parks, cafés and shops to get lost in for a good while.
For an afternoon plan, nothing beats a proper Argentine parrilla followed by a dulce de leche ice cream. And if you fancy something different, you can take a boat trip to the Tigre Delta, about an hour from the city, and enjoy a landscape that couldn't be more different from the centre.
