If you like wandering without a schedule, Riga's Old Town (Vecrīga) is one of the best places to get lost, with cobbled streets and squares full of history. It's also worth seeing the Art Nouveau buildings, which are a real architectural treasure.
To warm up, set aside some time for the Central Market, housed in former zeppelin hangars, and try a traditional café or restaurant. February is cold, but the city has a very special charm in winter.
