Today we have a city break to Rome from Zaragoza for €52 return, flying nonstop with Wizz Air Malta. The fare is 48% below what this route usually costs, so it's well worth a look.
The dates we found are 23 to 26 January 2027: you depart on Saturday and return on Tuesday, which gives you three nights to see the city at a relaxed pace. Keep in mind that prices can change at any moment, so check the deal before you book.
If it appeals to you, don't overthink it. Flight deals don't last long, and once they sell out the price tends to climb quickly. Compare the fare with your own dates, and book as soon as you can.
Once you're there, stick to the classics, but don't skip them: wander through Trastevere, with its narrow lanes, trattorias and neighbourhood atmosphere.
