Airline and connections

Best time to visit
Kuala Lumpur is a tropical destination year-round. December (as in the example) is a solid choice: it's the dry season in Malaysia and aligns with school holidays in Spain. It's peak season, but these prices are competitive even then. Avoid the monsoon season (May to September) if you want better weather and less rainfall risk.
What to do when you arrive
Kuala Lumpur's iconic Petronas Twin Towers are a must-see. Explore the Old Town, visit the Thean Hou Temple, the oldest in the city. The Batu Caves and Hindu temple are nearby. For nature, Perhentian or Langkawi islands are close getaways. Eat at street markets: satay, laksa and nasi lemak are essential.
