Dublin is worth visiting year-round, but May to September offers the most stable weather. If you travel in winter (like the example on 8 January), bring warm clothes and expect shorter days, but you'll find fewer tourists and lower prices around the city.
What to do when you arrive
Dublin awaits with traditional pubs, Trinity College, Christchurch Cathedral and the River Liffey. The airport is well connected to the city centre by bus and train. Spend at least 2-3 days exploring: wander Temple Bar, visit museums and try local Guinness beer.
