Price and when to book

Airline and stops

Best time to visit
Malta shines year-round thanks to Mediterranean weather. For fewer tourists and mild temps, aim for October–November or March–April. December–February is wetter but still pleasant. Summer is peak season: crowded beaches and higher fares.
What to do when you arrive
You land at Malta Airport (MLA), about 5 km from town. Grab a bus, taxi or hire a car from there. Valletta, the capital, is UNESCO heritage: narrow streets, baroque churches, sea views. Don't miss the megalithic temples (Europe's oldest), medieval Mdina, or Dingli Cliffs. And beaches: Mellieha, Golden Bay, Comino for diving.
