Air Serbia takes you from Zurich to Dubrovnik with 1 stop from €159 return. The median price is €185, so you have room to choose dates without overspending.
Price and when to book
Flights range from €159 to €196 depending on your travel dates. The closer you book to departure, prices tend to drop on this route. It works well for last-minute trips, but checking a few days ahead is still sensible.
Air Serbia and stopovers
Air Serbia is the sole carrier on offer with 1 stop on the outbound flight. Departure is 09:30 from Zurich, return at 15:05 from Dubrovnik. The stopover adds travel time but keeps fares low.
Best time to travel
Dubrovnik is a sun and sea destination. Summer is peak season with higher prices and busy beaches. For fewer crowds and better rates, aim for spring (April–May) or autumn (September–October). Winter is cheapest but colder and wetter.
What to do when you arrive
The Old Town is essential: medieval walls, palaces and stone streets. Banje Beach is a 5-minute walk away. Climb Fort Lovrijenac for stunning views. Nearby islands (Lokrum, Elafiti) are reachable by boat from the harbour. Stroll down Stradun Avenue and eat fresh seafood by the port.
FAQ
Are there direct flights from Zurich to Dubrovnik?
Not in this offer. Air Serbia has 1 stop. If you need a direct service, you'd need to check other dates or carriers, but the stopover keeps this price very competitive.
Can I change or cancel if I book at €159?
That depends on Air Serbia's fare rules. Before you book, check the terms: refunds, amendments and fees. Some cheap fares are non-refundable.
Which airport serves Dubrovnik and how far is it from the centre?
Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) is around 20 km from the city. You can reach it by bus (lines D1 or D2), taxi or rental car. Bus is the cheapest option.
When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik on a budget?
Spring (April–May) and autumn (September–October) offer good weather and lower prices than summer. Winter is even cheaper but expect rain and cool temperatures.
